Character Personality (3 Strengths, 2 Weaknesses):

Strengths:
1: Kind. Shen Qingqiu despite himself and all better judgment is secretly a bleeding heart when it comes to others. He wants to help those around them and can’t ignore the plight of others. He even feels bad for animals that are supposed to be food and keeps it as a pet instead because it was “too pathetic”. This kindness also allows him to make friends without effort, even winning over potential enemies without realizing it.

2: Adaptability. One of the things that has probably helped him the most is that he is very adaptable to new situations. Waking up in a novel he hates? Only takes half a day or less to adjust to it. He is always ready to accept situations as they are without arguing too much about it. He is very much a go with the flow sort of person.

3: Selfless. Despite being the sort of person to complain about a lot of petty things, he will be the first to sacrifice himself for another. In fact, he does this multiple times in canon without a second thought, though he does regret a few of them later, as his actions were not necessary.

Weaknesses:
1: Oblivious. Shen Qingqiu is very oblivious to things around him. He is very bad at judging the thoughts and feelings of others and realizing what actions might mean. He has terrible people skills and has no idea how to properly communicate. There are even times where he will start to zone out while people are talking to him.

2: Lazy. He is very lazy and prefers to be idle. Though it’s not that he doesn’t like going out and doing things, he just likes to do things in his own time, his own way. He also has no real skills for taking care of himself, so chores and other activities like that will always be given to someone else. He is the product of a pampered upbringing and he is not really aware of this.
