It had only been a short while since Shen Qingqiu, no, Shen Yuan had awoken back in his body, back home in his room, as if nothing had happened. His sister had told him he had fainted for a little bit, but ultimately was fine. It was hard to believe.
However, what was harder to believe was the strange otherness this world that should be familiar felt. It was home... but... it was not. He wasn't sure when he had started to catch on, perhaps it was some of the commercials, the TV shows, and conversations he had casually overheard of his parents.
"It is time we dealt with this," he could hear his father mutter to his mother.
"I'm worried about him," his mother replied.
Worried? Why were they worried? Sure he was a third some with no real prospects, but that had never been an issue, and it wasn't as if having another person to take care of household tasks when no one else was available was bad. Sure he spent most his time in his room, but it wasn't as if he were a disrespectful and wasteful son!
Of course soon he would find out what they were worried about, even his sister showed concern on the day it was announced to him!
Congradulations!!
No.
Welcome to Fan Box Extra Disk: What if Fantasy Carnival!
No! Fuck you! What sort of cruel messed up thing was this! He had lived the story, to the end! And when he had assumed he would die as all things eventually do, having lived a long and eventful life, he woke up back home, What felt like back home, with dreamlike memories of another entire life!
And now... now he was... in some warped perverted version of home?
"WHY!?" His outburst garnered the confused looks of his family but they were used to him being a little strange sometimes so didn't pay it much need and carried on with their decision....
It turned out this world he woke up in, though it looked like his familiar home, was rather different I'm a fundamental way, some sort of strange D/s society. Who was this catering to? Isn't this too niche!? Just do a modern AU idol fantasy or something normal!!!
In this society people were sorted into one or the other, and their abilities restricted based on it. Generally once one became an adult they would go into the role they best suited, or, was randomly assigned. There were some expectations of those where were D. Which, it turned out, a third son with no responsibilities was not exactly fit form
Fuck. For the first time he rather regretted his no need for any expectations of him.
Second, it turned out his parents felt he probably couldn't be harsh enough when it mattered in the world of those dominant.
What do you mean he can't be harsh? Had he not just been a splendid shizun? Raising his disciples with proper discipline and proper care! He had been Shen Qingqiu for decades! That man was definitely not one would call soft!
But, he had to admit, he had let Luo Binghe get away with whatever he wanted... only pulling the leash at the last minute if he did so at all really....
This was probably more a sick fetish of the system more than anything.
In the end there were no proper resources to give him to be set up as a D, and his introverted nature seemed to ping the s more and more. His parents had avoided the issue for as long as they could, and he needed to be registered.
There was one good thing however, his family was decently comfortable, they had a company and a few luxuries, of course he wouldn't say they were anywhere near the elite, but they were not wanting for opportunities. As a son from such a family he was given some leeway, when put on market he did have final say in who could keep him after bidding, choosing between those who showed interest during a trial period.
This of course did not make him feel better, but, it was something and, perhaps a nice older sister would show pity on him and take him in. He had no worries regarding his abilities to run a home, and though he wasn't Shen Qingqiu, he did have a good face himself as well. He just needed to hold himself properly and make an impression during the auction....
The auction had been... odd, and had a sense of dehumanization to it. Sold like a piece of meat to the highest bidder. He had never met any of them, he simply knew there were a few of them and right now he was on his way to the highest one. He knew they were male and had several others under them already. Such a greedy bastard! But, perhaps with so many they needed someone to help handle tasks. It was a nice thought. Supposedly it was not uncommon to take on domestic subs who were meant to do chores and keep things running. He felt he could do that without issues. Be taken care of, do his tasks, don't worry about too much, he had actually easily adjusted to this potential and had warmed up to the idea. But, of course, something in the back of his mind said it wouldn't be so simple.
Standing at the door of the rather intimidating house he had a sense of growing unease. The house was... impressive. He had always thought he had grown up in a nice house, but this was something completely different! Beyond compare even. It was intimidating. Who could the owner of this house be, and why had they bid so much on him? He didn't know the exact number, but from the hushed whispers of those around him it had been an unheard of amount, especially for someone like him, even if he had decent looks, he needed a lot of work to shine.
The handler knocked on the door in a matter of fact transactional way and Shen Yuan waited to see who this crazy man was.
Luo Binghe never bothered to look at the auctions for male submissives.
Why would he? Men and women were completely different. Men were always arrogant, overconfident, rude or even cruel. They never cared, and they never were kind. Women were much better to keep around, gentle, obedient, never causing more than a bit of an inconvenience here or there.
He wasn't sure what to make of this world that he had found himself in. Not only did it seem to be entirely without any demons beyond himself, there didn't seem to be a hint of cultivation, either. At first he had thought it might simply be that immortals isolated themselves far away from the common folk, but even after searching for a little while he had found no traces. Beyond that, the common folk arranged their entire society around the practices of dominating and submitting. It was not an unfamiliar dynamic for Luo Binghe, who had been asserting his dominance for his entire adult life, but it seemed unusual to see everyone else also participating in such a thing amongst each other.
In any case he took to it naturally, as he did anything he tried. Adjustment to this world was rather intuitive, and soon he'd amassed what seemed to be a sizeable amount of money, without even needing to resort to violence. A collection of wives was next, although they weren't "wives" in this society. He could not pluck them as freely as he had before; while it was easy to find and acquire many beautiful women, there were expectations for how he would treat and provide for them that meant he needed to be much more selective. His collection was still small when, on a whim, he glanced at the listing of male submissives one day.
For the first time since he'd arrived, there was a familiar face.
... Though, it wasn't that he recognized it. This man was someone Luo Binghe had never seen in his life; but there were certain similarities that were eerie, as if he was looking at a sibling or a child of the man whose presence had had such a great and terrible impact over the course of his life. He glanced to the name.
Shen Yuan.
The same "Shen".
Perhaps it was meant to be a sign. Luo Binghe didn't give that much thought to it, simply bid an amount that made it clear to other dominants that he was serious. In many ways it was simply symbolic. Shen Yuan was classified as high-class goods, with the freedom to choose whichever bidder he wanted out of any who were willing to pay. No matter how much Luo Binghe bid, there was no out-bidding the submissive himself. But with such a large sum offered, many would simply assume they had no way to offer enough to make it worth it to turn him down in favor of themselves. At the very least, it would almost certainly secure him first access for the trial period.
And it had indeed. Luo Binghe was already prepared, and at the sound of the knock he went to open the front door. He was well aware that his current submissives were hiding where they could, peeking out from doorways or around corners to try to get their first glimpses of this man, the only male submissive Luo Binghe had ever shown interest in. He wouldn't have minded if they had stood out in the open and blatantly gawked, but that seemed to be how women were.
"Good evening." He opened the door with a smile on his face, carefully crafted to be more than diplomatic but not quite so great as affectionate, and addressed the handler. He was rather eager to see just what was in store for him when it came to this man that fate seemed to have pointed him at. "You have brought Shen Yuan for me, yes?" His eyes flicked to the submissive briefly to take him in from up close.
Shen Yuan just about screamed. What was this!? What was this joke!? Luo Binghe was infront of him standing casually as if he belonged here!
...
Of course... AU fandsik....
FUCK YOU!
As he stood there in shock, and one eye twitching he tried to take assessment of the situation. Was this an AU Binghe? Or a Binghe like himself, transported here to flounder around in the setting?
He tried to keep himself calm as he considered the possibilities and carefully studied the man before him. Sadly, he did not have the benefit of a fan to help hide him.
The first and easiest thing to dismiss was that this was not his Binghe, he was quite certain of it. There was a certain lack of patheticness and tears. The other potential was... the original. Bing-ge taken from the story raw and planted here.
...
His heart quickened at the idea, pure fear running through him. No no no! That would be the worst situation!
But wait... he wasn't Shen Qingqiu, he shouldn't worry of such a fate, he just had to do well, right? Binghe was a man who rewarded goods and punished wrongs. He just had to do well by him! And it wasn’t as if he had any issues with Binghe, he had never had issues with Binghe! As a stranger, this could work. Though why would he buy a man!? Was the symptoms of the author really so embedded in the story that outside the vapid fan catering that the protagonist decides to dabble in another genre!?
As he stood there with his mind going a million miles a second the handler finished up his greetings and finalization and handed him over. Of course Shen Yuan was not paying any attention to this and was being currently yelled at quite sternly.
"Shen Yuan!" The handlers voice finally got though.
"Huh?" He blinked a bit and looked over to the man.
The handler wanted to sigh, how was this man "quality" of any sort? But then that was just how rich enough families were he supposed. "Introduce yourself."
Ah, yes... there were no doubt a lot of social rules like that.
How annoying.
Well, no one could say he didn't have manners when they were required!
Shen yuan gave his greeting with a bow, though it wasn't exactly what would be expected of a modern man, he was too used to doing things the other way and talking in specific ways when trying to be 'formal'.
"This one is Shen Yuan, thank you for having me," Or something like that. Gracious! Gracious and kind! A loyal peon ready to not die!
The bow, too, rang oddly familiar, enough to get a slight quirk of one eyebrow; the formal speech got a tugging at the corner of his lips. No one else he'd met here, man or woman, dominant or submissive, had ever greeted another like that. It stirred his curiosity even further.
He returned the greeting with one of his own. It was not a bow--Luo Binghe did not lower his head to submissives--but he raised his hands in front of him in a salute. "This one is Luo Binghe, the master of this house. Come in, and I will explain what is expected of you."
He gave one final nod to the handler, signaling that their dealings had concluded and he was free to leave. Then Luo Binghe turned. Immediately he saw the fleeting shapes of his submissives ducking away in the hopes of avoiding Luo Binghe's notice. He chuckled softly under his breath. Should he punish them? Something light, perhaps; he wasn't upset at them this time, but it would be good to be sure they understood the need to not step too far out of line. It was tempting to indulge in the thought of taking one of them under his hand, giving her a gentle scolding, and then bringing her to his bed to reward her for enduring the punishment. But right now, he had something else to focus on. There was a time for those ideas later.
He stepped into the house, the first test already beginning. Would Shen Yuan know to follow without being ordered? Would he think to close the door without instruction? It was good to figure out how much he was ready for his new lifestyle, and how much training he would still need.
A small part of him wondered if he should have been more casual, it had been a bit harder to adjust than he would have thought. But then, he had made a lot of things habit much longer than the way things were before had been. Well... he can figure it out over time. For now... dealing with The Luo Binghe of Proud Immortal Demon's Way.
It was easy enough to follow someone into a house, and it was common sense to close the door behind you when the other didn't seem to be going for it. If he was supposed to walk with head down, or so many steps behind, he didn't know it and didn't do it. Instead, he looked around openly gawking and casually pausing when something interesting caught his eye. Never long enough to be completely left behind, but still something too casual for anyone meant to be a sub.
Thankfully, his own uncertainty of the situation was the only thing keeping him from asking a million questions from the get go.
Both were good signs to start with. Proper manners and habits could be instructed, but if one became a submissive with the wrong temperament, that would require significant additional work. Still...
"Eyes forward. You'll be able to take it in at another time."
Some light correcting early on, just to establish that he wasn't nearly so lax as to let behavior like that slide.
He led Shen Yuan further into the house. Despite its modern design and furnishings, there were unmistakable hints of the world that Luo Binghe came from. The mansion was built around not one but two courtyards, perfectly maintained as small patches of nature where one might in fact select as places to cultivate. One had a few trees with enough cover to provide several shaded patches on the grass below; the other had a small pond, with what seemed to be a stone riverbed and a construction for a small waterfall, though the water wasn't flowing at present. Inside the house, though all the furnishings were modern the decorations had a distinct traditional lean.
"You will call me 'Master' unless you obtain permission otherwise. I expect my submissives to attend to me first and foremost. Aside from that, you will primarily be responsible for chores around the house. If you have any useful specialties we will discuss them in detail later, as well as any interest you might have in outside employment or activities. You may speak freely in conversation with me but you must ask before initiating one. You may interrupt only in emergencies. You may talk with other submissives but do not speak to other dominants without permission. If you find yourself unable to avoid speaking with them, you may only direct them to me; you may use my name in these cases."
He led Shen Yuan through hallways between the audience space and the first courtyard, into the dining area that abutted the second one. The room was spacious, but at the moment it featured a simple square table, large enough to seat two people per side, and a traditional tea set with two cups ready. Luo Binghe walked over to the chair furthest from the entryway, angled to face the courtyard, pulled it out, and gestured for Shen Yuan to sit.
"Tonight you will be treated as the guest of honor, but this is temporary. You will be granted this privilege only on special occasions."
Luo Binghe had decided to treat this man as he would any other submissive (a few key duties excepted) until he determined exactly what his connection was with Shen Qingqiu. On top of that, he was competing against others to keep Shen Yuan, and Luo Binghe was not a man who lost any competition. He could hide his tiger fangs until his prey was trapped with nowhere to go, and in the meantime, uncover the nature of this person. Would he reveal himself to be as despicable as Shen Qingqiu, seeking only opportunity for his own gain and to undermine those who might get ahead of him? Or perhaps--
... Well. No need to get ahead of himself with conjecture. In a situation like this, his true nature would come out sooner rather than later.
Though a bit confinding, and part of him didn't much like saying 'master' all in all he had fee complaints. Chores was what he was hoping for, and it seemed like the current situation wasn't as bad as it could be. He had always been a person happy with things as they were as long as he could be comfortable.
Still... saying master just felt a bit....
He sat down in the offered chair and tried to digest it all. He wasn't sure he would manage to actually not speak or be that sort of under thumb person, but who knew?
"I must confess this entire thing is new to me...." and his expressions of uncertainty definitely screamed it. He started to wonder if this world still had Proud Immortal Demon's Way in it...
...
Airplane! He should try and see if he's somewhere too.
Ah, yes. The "internet", a vast connected network of this world that allowed people to have discussions as if they were all letters received immediately, read off in public to whomever showed up to listen. Full of more voices than the busiest human cities had ever been, even Luo Binghe felt that he didn't truly comprehend the vastness of it.
He had developed a basic understanding of it, but felt there was still much for him to learn.
At any rate, he certainly wasn't about to let one of his submissives run free with such a thing, even more so because of Shen Yuan's... "circumstances".
"Your access will be limited to start, but you will be able to earn more if you perform your duties well. I may also supervise you from time to time."
As he spoke, he poured tea and passed one of the cups to Shen Yuan. The flavor was one of Luo Binghe's favorites, carefully crafted from various sources he'd obtained in this world. With a bit of effort, he had managed to make something all but indistinguishable from the tea of his home.
He sat opposite Shen Yuan and took a sip. There was still time for some conversation before dinner, and before the others would be allowed to meet the new submissive.
"Anything you are unfamiliar with, I will arrange for your instruction and training. I will also be responsible for your punishment. As long as you understand your place and act accordingly, there will not be any trouble between us."
There was a slight edge to his expression as he said it.
Limited... it hurt, though, it shouldn't really hurt that much. How long had he spent without it? But at the same time, to have it again, and not be able to immerse himself into it fully... it was like a sweet pastry just out of reach. His sigh of disappointment was almost a physical deflation.
But, moving on, and he took the tea with a grace he didn't think about, perhaps some things of the body carried over with the mind. A good tea, well brewed, a fine flavor. He couldn't help but smile as he set the cup down.
"A good tea," something about it was almost nostalgic in some way.
But, there were other things to consider, and... he wasn't going to think of punishments for the moment.
"I can do basic chores, but what exactly did you have in mind?" he wasn't sure what he would have to learn.
Every movement was observed with a keen eye. Much like the bow had stood out before, the way Shen Yuan handled the teacup did not escape Luo Binghe's notice as at odds with the usual actions of those in this world, in a way that was far more familiar than not.
Yet his expression didn't change, a little sharp but still showing plenty of magnanimity.
"That will depend on what you're suited for, and how that overlaps with the others. The usual chores include cleaning around the house, doing laundry, shopping for food and other household necessities, washing dishes and occasional meal preparation, and maintaining the outside areas. However, there are several duties that are more along the lines of attending to me personally. These include helping me dress, drawing my baths, accompanying me when I decide not to go out alone, providing my evening entertainment, and warming my bed." He said it without any hesitation, as if nothing about it was amiss. "I will provide for you anything you need, but you will be responsible for looking after yourself. If I find you neglecting your health or the space I give you, you will receive an appropriate punishment."
He poured himself another cup, then let his gaze casually return to Shen Yuan's face.
"You are my ninth submissive. Perhaps I could call you Shen Jiu?"
He blinked a bit at the reference, clearly having no personal connection to it. In fact, for a moment he was just 'nine? isn't that a bit unimaginative?' almost like the sort of name you give a slave-
Ah...
Wait! Why is he trying to make such connections? Don't do this, he wanted none of the worries of the original goods! Which isn't even in this world! A Bing-ge who thought of comparing him to Shen Qingqiu worried him, he did not want to be hurt! Did he have to hug this one's thighs as hard as possible as well? It was so much harder though. Bing-mei, though some sort of fortune of hand raising hand ended up not so bad, perhaps needing a bit of additional training, and having gone down such a bent path, but ultimately once things had been sorted, not terrifying. Bing-ge however, as much as he had no complaints of his character, he would still rather not be on the wrong side of him!
But, worries aside, the more pressing matter were the tasks at hand. He was not a good cook, he never cooked, he couldn't make anything beyond simple fair, and what involved a microwave.... Cleaning he could do, though it sounded a bit annoying, washing dishes was also not the worst, but not very fun, gardening could be fun though.
As for personal attendants, that didn't sound so bad. Helping a person to dress wasn't so bad, and he felt he could be good at picking out good clothes that suited the situation, running a bath wasn't hard either, hot water taps were a thing he missed! Not that he had ever drawn a bath for himself while in that world.... And going out sounded fun, he could do that easily. As for entertainment, he had little to offer, maybe he could still play the guqin? But, one thing in that list was an issue....
"I'm a man though," you can't expect him to be in the bed... Bing-ge! BING-GE! You have eight women in this house, how can you even suggest it!?
Though... he had easily kissed him that one time....
He almost wanted to cry. Bing-ge, don't let this taint you.
"The brother of all brothers, to also enter the crooked path so easily...." he muttered to himself.
But, first, he should be honest in this introduction period.
"If you don't mind instant noodles, I can provide meals, but beyond that is... unexplored. I have also never done laundry before...." was he showing himself as a pampered son? Perhaps....
No recognition. That was the most expected outcome, of course; shy of Shen Yuan being Shen Qingqiu reincarnated with all of his memories, how would he know about such a name? Yet it was a possibility he needed to rule out. Shen Qingqiu may have been a man who tried to hide his terrible nature in the hopes of currying favor with a woman or two, but he had little face for true deception. With how hard Luo Binghe had to dig to uncover such a buried and shameful secret, there's no way Shen Qingqiu would have been able to suppress a reaction to hearing it again.
He let it go as easily as Shen Yuan did. There was no reason to dwell on disproven thoughts. "You're a submissive who will serve me in the ways I see fit. I will consider your input but you will obey my final decisions." Did he actually seek to bed this man? Not particularly, but he didn't want him to think that that protest was enough to gain him an exception. In his long life, there had only been one man Luo Binghe had moved on in an attempt to lie with, and that was out of a curiosity for the twisted and disgusting circumstances...
Well, it wasn't worth thinking about. This man had already shown he wasn't Shen Qingqiu, leaving Luo Binghe's actual interest in him at the level of determining what connection did exist there.
The muttering didn't escape his notice, but the phrases meant little to him, so he left them unremarked on and replied to the rest instead.
"Instant noodles will not be acceptable. You will learn to cook and do laundry as well. Even if they do not become your regular duties, I expect you to be able to perform them as necessary." His tone left no room for protest. A moment later, Luo Binghe stood up again and turned to leave. "Wait here. I will return after making dinner preparations."
Shen Yuan's answer had been enough for Luo Binghe. He finished up their first evening by carrying Shen Yuan into the bathroom and carefully cleaning him up, then bringing him back to the bed so that the two of them could fall asleep pressed against each other.
He considered pulling him into a dream properly while the two slept, but in the end only left Shen Yuan with something ambiguously arousing, nothing that would get him excited enough to spill but something that would leave a lingering impression of sex behind as the details faded in the morning.
Luo Binghe awoke before Shen Yuan did and carefully pulled himself off the bed so as not to disturb the other. There were too many things that were just slightly off about this person, and he wanted to investigate a bit further. After changing his clothes Luo Binghe casually left a folding fan on the corner of his dresser, right nearby where Shen Yuan would have to pass to exit the room. Allowing him to sleep in, Luo Binghe began to go about his day, leaving Shen Yuan alone for the moment.
It wasn't long before the smell of breakfast started to permeate the house.
Shen Yuan would not consider himself a lazy person, or a person who carelessly slept in, but, he also was not an eager early riser. He felt the point when he naturally woke up was a fair enough time, and since he woke up to the smell of breakfast it was a perfect time. Was this a privileged sort of outlook? He never thought about it in any particular way.
He had gotten himself to the edge of the bed considering what to do now when he noticed the fan and picked it up. Now, someone else might think 'what an odd thing to leave here,' and think about it's meaning and intention. Shen Yuan, however?
It's just not quite the same without one.
He thought nothing in particular about it other than he was more comfortable with it now.
Now, there was an issue. His clothes were gone. None presented. His room....
Somewhere.
"Fuck," you are a very trying man!
He could, he supposed, try and remember how to find his room, but, that would mean being seen, and he would rather crawl out the window than be known. So instead, he went for the potentially more dangerous option, looking for something he could wear.
Blacks and reds were not his thing, so he tried to find the lightest of the robes (how much did all this cost!? This is actual silk and hand embroidery, not the stuff you just get off taobao! True custom!) he found one button-up shirt and decided to at least make an outfit that felt like it wouldn't be too weird walking down the street in it.
Now ready, with fan in hand, he went towards the delicious smells to find out what was for breakfast.
Luo Binghe wasn't to be found in the dining area, but the sound of his voice could be heard from the kitchen. Most of the rest of Luo Binghe's submissives were already sitting at their places at the table, only Baihe and Lianhua were absent.
The women stared openly the moment they spotted Shen Yuan appearing in what were most definitely clothes from Luo Binghe's personal selection. All of their faces seemed to be going slightly red to varying shades, and each had their own different expression, but all of them seemed to be conveying the same thing: understanding.
Fengniao glanced towards the kitchen for a moment, then turned back to Shen Yuan and gave a whisper.
"How was it? Even though you're a man, you did it with Master, right? Isn't he amazing?!"
The only thing that kept him from dying on the spot was the sheer willpower to not show such weakness to a group. He lifted the fan and cursed these girls, don't play harem politics with him!
"I don't care," of course Bing-ge should be amazing, it was a given. But either way he wasn't letting that Heavenly Pillar near him without proper preparations!
Ah, but this was a moment for something else, something more important than sexual gossip.
"However, would any of you happen to have a phone... or laptop I could use? Just for a moment?" or give me my phone, that works too!
"Oh, several of us have phones." Hudie reached into her clothing and soon produced a smartphone. "It's very convenient for those of us with jobs outside the mansion, though some of us get along without them just fine. What do you need it for?" She smiled, her tone of voice curious.
His face changed as if he had seen the light of heaven shining down on him in a moment of glorious conquest. There is a god and he is favored!
"I really wanted to look something up... also to check in on my litter sister," a half-lie, "She had concerns and I want to alleviate them...." and search for answers!
"It sounds like you two care about each other a lot. You must be a good older brother." Hudie held out her phone for Shen Yuan to take, but barely seconds later there was the clattering of dishes being picked up in the kitchen, signalling that Luo Binghe was likely to emerge soon.
Excited by finally reaching his goal he reached out to take it, not really paying too much mind to the sound of dishes, in the long run it was just a familiar and given thing that the uniqueness of the situation hadn't yet caused change in his head.
He had just gotten the browser open and was about to make a search when his name was said in such a way. He wanted to cry. His soul was crying. He paused to look towards Binghe guessing exactly what he wanted.
You don't want me to use this phone. You fucking control freak!
Though despite his annoyance, he couldn't really keep the anger, Binghe was Binghe, it was hard to be mad.
Hello World

He just needed to hold himself properly and make an impression during the auction....
Introductions
Standing at the door of the rather intimidating house he had a sense of growing unease. The house was... impressive. He had always thought he had grown up in a nice house, but this was something completely different! Beyond compare even. It was intimidating. Who could the owner of this house be, and why had they bid so much on him? He didn't know the exact number, but from the hushed whispers of those around him it had been an unheard of amount, especially for someone like him, even if he had decent looks, he needed a lot of work to shine.
The handler knocked on the door in a matter of fact transactional way and Shen Yuan waited to see who this crazy man was.
no subject
"You have brought Shen Yuan for me, yes?" His eyes flicked to the submissive briefly to take him in from up close.

A loyal peon ready to not die!
no subject
It was good to figure out how much he was ready for his new lifestyle, and how much training he would still need.
no subject
It was easy enough to follow someone into a house, and it was common sense to close the door behind you when the other didn't seem to be going for it. If he was supposed to walk with head down, or so many steps behind, he didn't know it and didn't do it. Instead, he looked around openly gawking and casually pausing when something interesting caught his eye. Never long enough to be completely left behind, but still something too casual for anyone meant to be a sub.
Thankfully, his own uncertainty of the situation was the only thing keeping him from asking a million questions from the get go.
no subject
In a situation like this, his true nature would come out sooner rather than later.
no subject
Still... saying master just felt a bit....
He sat down in the offered chair and tried to digest it all. He wasn't sure he would manage to actually not speak or be that sort of under thumb person, but who knew?
"I must confess this entire thing is new to me...." and his expressions of uncertainty definitely screamed it. He started to wonder if this world still had Proud Immortal Demon's Way in it...
...
Airplane! He should try and see if he's somewhere too.
...
Later.
Ah! But the most important thing!
"Is the internet still ok?"
no subject
There was a slight edge to his expression as he said it.
no subject
But, moving on, and he took the tea with a grace he didn't think about, perhaps some things of the body carried over with the mind. A good tea, well brewed, a fine flavor. He couldn't help but smile as he set the cup down.
"A good tea," something about it was almost nostalgic in some way.
But, there were other things to consider, and... he wasn't going to think of punishments for the moment.
"I can do basic chores, but what exactly did you have in mind?" he wasn't sure what he would have to learn.
no subject
Perhaps I could call you Shen Jiu?"
no subject
Ah...
Perhaps....
no subject

It wasn't long before the smell of breakfast started to permeate the house.
no subject
Now ready, with fan in hand, he went towards the delicious smells to find out what was for breakfast.
no subject
The women stared openly the moment they spotted Shen Yuan appearing in what were most definitely clothes from Luo Binghe's personal selection. All of their faces seemed to be going slightly red to varying shades, and each had their own different expression, but all of them seemed to be conveying the same thing: understanding.
Fengniao glanced towards the kitchen for a moment, then turned back to Shen Yuan and gave a whisper.
"How was it? Even though you're a man, you did it with Master, right? Isn't he amazing?!"
no subject
"I don't care," of course Bing-ge should be amazing, it was a given. But either way he wasn't letting that Heavenly Pillar near him without proper preparations!
Ah, but this was a moment for something else, something more important than sexual gossip.
"However, would any of you happen to have a phone... or laptop I could use? Just for a moment?" or give me my phone, that works too!

He didn't pause for even a step when he spotted Shen Yuan holding the phone, but once he'd set the plates down he turned to him and smiled.
"A-Yuan."
Though his voice was gentle, there was a hint of the protagonist's commanding presence in it, demanding attention.
no subject
You don't want me to use this phone. You fucking control freak!
Though despite his annoyance, he couldn't really keep the anger, Binghe was Binghe, it was hard to be mad.
"Good morning."
no subject
Several murmurs of "Good morning, Master," replied to him, but his focus remained on Shen Yuan.
"Did I give you permission to access a phone?"
no subject
He didn't answer but he put it down crying deep inside his heart. What did he do? What did he do to deserve this!?
He sat down acting as if he had never even touched the phone. What's a phone? He doesn't know. No idea here!
