Unclean Realm Handwave CR Meme
To post what residents of the Unclean Realm have generally been up to and to. Improvements made, information that should be general knowledge, and a chance to handwoven interactions that probably would have happened.

Character Name: Xiao Xingchen
Title: Daozhang
Rank: An unaffiliated cultivator
Age: 21
Residence: A room in the Western Residence that's more furnished than the rest in that area due to an Augur request.
Common Activities: Pops between the UC and the cafe through the array, trains in the courtyard, prepares to go night hunting, practices cooking the cafe's food, plays with the resident cat, often in his room at night. Might join others for tea or a small chat when he notices someone about.
Contributions: A patch of white radishes from an Augur wish, regrown with their seeds thanks to robot helpers in the UC. Often goes harvesting any requested food on the island, like fish and medicinal herbs from the mountains.
Extra: As time has gone on, he's done more switching between his male and female presenting forms to change around through the day. The latter is much shorter than he usually is and might not be immediately recognizable.

Character Name: Nie Huaisang (courtesy name). I use Nie Yun (聂蕴) for his birth name since he doesn't have one in canon
Title: Just 'Huaisang'. He's not much for formalities unless he's being pissy.
Rank: Sect Leader of the Qinghe Nie Sect, Chief Cultivator-in-training.
Age: 35. Doesn't look a day older than 25 though there's some carelines around his eyes and the odd gray hair if you squint hard enough.
Residence: Huaisang resides in the Central Residence, sharing his room with Shi Qingxuan. He can often be found in Shi Qingxuan's company, either taking meals together or drinking regularly and generally doesn't stray too far. Otherwise, he's usually in his room. He can also be found meditating in the northern and central courtyard.
Common Activities: Don't expect to see him out of his room before noon. Huaisang's pretty much a night owl. In the past, he made daily rounds surveying the grounds, supply stores, etc, but he's going to delegate as many tasks to others and only pick up whatever slack that remains when it's vitally needed. Once he gets his own place, he'll simply be a visitor and just drop by everyday/every couple of days to check in on things and gather gossip.
Contibutions: Y'all are living in it, folks. All that default IKEA furnishing all over the place came from him. He also designed the original layered protective arrays that were all over the place initially before borrowing Shizun's greater spiritual power to strengthen them. The firebreathing stone lion, Daffodil, that guards the place as a sentry also came through Huaisang securing an alliance with someone in the past. Also The Pimp Bed with leopard print sheets in his room. If something has a wildly inappropriate flower name, chances are that it came from him.
Extra: The official IC leadership of the UC will need to be sorted out. OOCly, I've always considered the UC a group project and that's still my stance on it! However, Huaisang would insist that a Nie should lead it because it's their ancestral home but he's taking a recovery/re-adjustment leave from his duties. Also, Mingjue outranks him in the clan hierarchy and he'd want to give his big bro the appropriate honor due to him and defer to his leadership. But he also willed the UC to Shizun and SQX in the event of his untimely disappearance because he trusted them to look after it so he might propose a sort of miniature, shared leadership council since big bro is new to Erku.
Also, adding a note that Huaisang will probably be doing a personal investigation into world hopping in the future if anyone wants on board with that.

Character Name: Jin Guangyao. Birth name: Meng Yao. Probably only the people who knew him before would know him as Meng Yao, he doesn't really introduce himself by it anymore. If they are really close he wouldn't mind being called A-Yao.
Title: Lianfang-zun
Rank: Chief Cultivator and sect leader of the Lanling Jin clan.
Age: 36, looks closer to mid-twenties. He has a few small lines around his eyes and around his lips from smiling.
Residence: The Central Residences in Nie Mingjue's rooms. He can be seen bustling about with day-to-day duties to keep the place running well. On weekends he can be found in the kitchens, preparing food for all the residents to eat over the course of the week, restocking, and maintaining supplies. He's a bit of a busybody. When he is seen relaxing in the evenings he can be found reading a book or enjoying tea in the Koi Tower Gardens, or spending time with his sworn brothers.
Common Activities:
Working at the Maid Cafe(taking a month-long break from the cafe), Disciple training and doing tasks in the morning to mid-afternoon with his Shifu, Shen Qingqiu, cooking in the kitchens, gardening, reading, organizing, and general admin work, and composing poetry.Contibutions:A few additional acres of land on the western side of the UC including the exteriors of Koi Tower, the peony gardens, and koi ponds. He also takes care of meals and ordering and maintaining the food stocks and general admin.
Extra: Jin Guangyao would want to help as much as he can with the overall administration of the UC and would probably want to do an asset assessment. He may start making lists of what is needed and what needs to be brought up to code. He would also suggest that they work towards shared goals for the betterment of everyone. ie. a source of meat that isn't laced with aphro.
He will be avoiding Nie Huaisang for a bit.
He saved two dogs during the rains. 1 Chihuahua (noodle) and 1 golden retriever(potato). They live in his room in the western residence but probably are running about the UC in general. Both of them are friendly but the little one is as much of a neurotic hell beast as his master.
He is considering making him a little hat.

Character Name: Ming Yi
Title: Earth Master Yi, Lord Earth Master. If someone calls him "Lady Earth Master" when in female form, he won't correct them, but he wouldn't claim it as a title.
Rank: A fully ascended god. The Earth Master! Worshipped for construction, engineering, and architecture.
Age: Late twenties~early thirties in appearance. Hundreds of years old in actuality.
Residence: Eastern Residence, next to Shen Qingqiu. It has only the default IKEA furniture aside from the lava lamp given to him by Shi Qingxuan (happily sitting on the table in the sitting room).
Common Activities:
• He will eat in the kitchen but is careful not to clear out the food supplies. If someone offers him food, he will not decline.
• If there is a free food event, he is there. (Addendum: If the free food event has drugged him, he will be suffering in silence.)
• Eats at and works at the Meimei Maid Café doing whatever task he's needed for (usually maid or cook)
• Out and about seemingly doing nothing.
• Hunting monsters and checking out various flora and fauna for Shen Qingqiu's compendium.
• Beside Shi Qingxuan for various reasons and in various contexts. If he's ever in female form outside of the maid café, it will be with Shi Qingxuan.
Contibutions:
• Distance shortening array connection point inside the UC (and technically every other connection point) and fortifications around the connection point. More info on the distance shortening array here!
• Technically he's the cause of the huge bone dragon with glowing ghost fire eyes residing in the lotus lake, but he will not claim credit for that. 😭 That is Shi Qingxuan's pet!!
Extra: He generally keeps a low profile, but he makes a point of being aware of who lives in and frequents the Unclean Realm.

Title: Zewu-jun, Sect Leader Lan

Age: 26/27
Residence: The Hanshi, Koi Tower or the Central residence of the Unclean Realm,
Common Activities: Still figuring that out.
Contibutions: The Lan cold spring and Hanshi are enclosed by walls now. The Hanshi itself will be warded once I get tokens to permit entrance but the spring will still be open for use as long as the gate is open.

Character Name: Nie Mingjue (Personal name unknown)
Title: Chifeng-zun or Sect Leader Nie (Nie-zhongzu). He'll be rockin' his sect leader self for the most part.
Rank: Sect Leader of the Nie Sect
Age: 22
Residence: Resides in the Central living area of the Unclean Realm. Can most often be found in the training courtyard or spending time with Lan Xichen or Jin Guangyao.
Common Activities: Currently, Mingjue is preoccupied with 1) training with his saber and 2) exploring. He's going to be bopping around the island, poking his head into places it's probably best not to, and seeing if he can maybe fight some monsters. His hobby is exercising Baxia and he hasn't found another one yet. Beyond that, he'll be doing whatever is required to run the UC, since Huaisang is relinquishing his position and running off into the wild blue.
Contibutions: None yet!!
Extra: Getting the Bed is in the works, and eventually renovating the central residence for luxury and style. Beyond that, unknown!
